so they don’t jeopardize the quality and accessibility of crucial family support systems.

One of our strongest programs to support our military service members and their families is Military OneSource, which connects them to vital resources and benefits.

Washington Bureaucrats have decided to award a contract to administer the Military OneSource program to Cognasante, a technology company with a history of failing to deliver. Cognasante has been sued by the Department of Justice for overcharging for services, using unqualified labor, and providing false information to the government during contract negotiations.

Additionally, the State of Tennessee terminated a contract with Cognasante for “not consistently meeting all the performance measures” and for being two years behind schedule on the project. There were also issues reported with the hotline, and months long delays for applicants trying to get coverage. We can not entrust Cognasante with our military service member and family benefits.

Preventing disruptions to the program’s operation will ensure that we:

  • Preserve excellent, reliable access to critical resources for us and our families.
  • Support enlisted service members and underserved populations who rely on Military OneSource.
  • Protect military service member and family readiness, which is already in an alarming decline.
